Kambu - Torres del PRI

This was one of my favorite restaurants on the resort! we came here for breakfast and dinner! their breakfast buffet has so many options!! definitely worth what you spent on the resort. different selections of pastries, american cuisine, of course mexican cuisine, fruit, etc. i don't remember what we had for dinner, but i remember it being delicious. all the staff members are so friendly!! we loved that about this restaurant. makes me miss cancun so much after writing this review.

The food is solid PanAsian. The service is fantastic. Save room for dessert and get the tempura ice cream.

This is one of the many restaurants at the Fiesta Americana Condesa resort in Cancun. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner everyday. Their cuisine kind of changes throughout the day. Breakfast is buffet style with American and Mexican selections such as pastries, omelettes, chilaquiles, and French toast to name a few options. At 10:30, they close their buffet. Our servers during breakfast were so great and attentive throughout. I didn't eat here for lunch so I'm not sure if it's the same or different. The ocean view definitely made the restaurant very inviting in the mornings. Compared to Kalmia, it has a bit more of a laid back feel. For dinner, they change to Asian fusion cuisine. The seafood was okay, and the dishes weren't the most palatable. Our server tried to sell us lobster and seafood dishes that cost extra. In the end, we were glad we didn't buy the extra dishes since the ones off the menu were only alright. Dessert was good though I liked the tempura ice cream. Other than that, I didn't eat dinner here again since there are so many other great options on the resort.

La comida es deliciosa!!! La atencion y el servicio del personal en la cena es muy buena!!! Recomiendo que prueben el Kantones!!!

Kambu is the palapa next to the lower pool. Service and options are on par with the rest of the resort, but it's a great place to grab lunch while you're spending the day at the pool or beach. If you snag a table under one of the fans, you'll be treated to a cool breeze to combat the humidity. I had the mahi mahi tostadas on our second day and could not get enough of them. The plate comes with 2 but don't be afraid to ask for 4- you'll want them! A bit spicy but offset nicely with the lettuce and pickled onions.
