Being typical Aussies, we opted for a Roast Pork with Crackle Bahn Mi and a Lemongrass Grilled Chicken Bahn Mi. Both sandwiches were filled with delicious ingredients and everything was fresh and tasty, including the mayo. The pork was cooked perfectly and had a unique flavor that showcased the culture it came from. The lemongrass chicken was zesty and had a special twist to it that set it apart from the usual grilled chicken. We also enjoyed a Traditional Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Thai Milk Tea to accompany our meal. The iced coffee was invigorating, while the milk tea brought back memories of childhood innocence. We tried the spring rolls, which were crunchy on the outside and delicious on the inside. The dim sims were also a hit, with a juicy filling that left us wanting more. We plan on ordering from Hangs again in the future, and may even visit the restaurant to explore more of their offerings.
I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for quite some time, always purchasing 5 rolls. Unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in their service recently. They have raised their prices and are now skimping on the ingredients in their sandwiches. They even tried to charge us extra for adding more ingredients. It's disappointing to see such changes.
Go here and get the combination with chilli. It is honestly the best you will get in adelaide. This was my local for a long time and the only place I'd eaten bah mis at and I didn't realise how lucky I was until I started getting them in other places and no where lived up! I'm now in vietnam in ho chi minh trying to find one that lives up and I am yet to succeed! Crunchy, fresh, tangy great combo of pickled veggies and mayo with spice and great meats. You won't go wrong!
When i first came to Adelaide I didnt know what a Bhan Mi Roll was... But since i've been here ,I've definitely tried a few... every lunchtime , theres a queue, I always have mine with double meat and extra crunch ... YUM
The restaurant had good service and is conveniently located with plenty of parking. The dim sims were a good size and reasonably priced. However, the chocolate donut was disappointing as it was very greasy and the chocolate icing fell off easily. I will give this place another chance and try a different menu item next time.
