Lots of choice, very friendly staff. English and french spoken. Good food at very reasonable proces. We came back twice after first dinner in a week! Hot tip in Moncorvo!

Favas guisadas (Fava beans in sauce with black bauch and sausage) was excellent. like the local alheira sausage croquetas and the fresh cheese dipped with crumble and local olive oil. wonderful mandel and chestnut panna cotta dessert. friendly waitress was able to help in English fyi and she made a very nice pairing suggestions for my dessert. I came on a Monday of the carnival, so hard to say whether it was so busy in the regular, but it was full when I was here. waits for a table. Maybe best to make a reservation. these are great hearty meal times, for a few I would only get one deer and appetizer instead of a deer. we have escaped and couldn't finish. every guest was about the selection of the wee from solid local bottles for under up to some world famous heavy hitters of douro for or more.
