Ra Sushi Bar Restaurant Torrance

The restaurant did not honor our request to be seated at the sushi bar and instead placed us between two noisy and disruptive patrons in a nearly empty restaurant. The waiter took 15 minutes to bring a beer, only to inform us after reminding him that they were out of stock. We were also charged for a dish that we never received and had to request it be removed from our bill. Overall, the experience was disappointing and frustrating.

The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, but the sushi quality is average. The service, however, is excellent.

The food quality was good. There was a slight delay with the steaks being served on time, but the taste and the attitude of the manager and waiter were excellent.

Food is always delicious. Atmosphere is cool. I’ve never had a problem with service. This past visit our drinks took a long time, over 20 minutes, so we got a few dollars knocked off our bill.

The waiter was no where to be found when needed. It took 30mins just to get water. We ordered rolls to go during happy hour and they didn’t tell us the same rolls we had just eaten would be $6 more because we wanted them to go.
