Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Torrance

Today, the chicken was quite tough and not enjoyable at all. However, the mashed potatoes and gravy were tasty.

Today, I ordered two chicken sandwiches and a side of fries. When my number was called, I went to the counter to pick up my food and confirmed the order with the clerk. She assured me that it was indeed two chicken sandwiches and one order of fries. However, when I got home, I discovered that only one sandwich was in the bag. I won’t be returning to this location, as the staff seems unable to accurately fulfill orders.

I ordered lunch from Popeyes today. I received the order promptly. Everything was packed nicely, but unfortunately when I checked the contents of the to-go bag... they had forgotten to include my order of mashed potatoes and Cajun gravy. I was disappointed since I was really craving that item, in particular. I have ordered from this Popeyes in the past, and they usually remember everything. I will order from them again.

I recently had a disappointing experience at Popeyes Chicken, which is why I'm giving them a two-star rating. I placed my order and immediately asked the manager if they could substitute the Crispy Sandwich with the Blackened one. Unfortunately, my request went unacknowledged, and I was served the Crispy Sandwich as originally ordered. It was frustrating not to have my simple request fulfilled, which ultimately led to a less than satisfactory dining experience.

Last night we placed our order with a nice young man at the register. When paying, my husband asked for the Veterans ' discount, as he always does and that Popeye 's always provides. The young man looked to a woman, apparently the manager, who stated that Popeye 's does not give Veterans ' discounts. My husband informed her that he had received the discount several times previously. In an uncalled for and rude tone, the manager replied Oh, you 're gonna tell ME that? And I work here? NO, you don 't get a discount. She was so mean spirited we were disappointed that a Vietnam combat veteran would be treated so rudely. We love the food here and usually the customer service here is top notch, but we do not want to return given our recent visit. I hope the owner of this franchise receives this message.
