Din Tai Fung - Torrance

I would give this place ten stars if I could! I didn’t plan to eat here, but now I can’t wait to come back. It was my best friend’s and my first visit, and we were impressed right from the beginning. Every waiter and waitress greeted us with a smile and a wave, and there was no wait at all. Our fantastic waitress, Claudia, took the time to explain everything on the menu. I tried the dishes she recommended and was blown away by the flavors. The pork cutlet fried rice was absolutely amazing! Overall, I had a perfect experience—100 out of 10—and it was very affordable too!

The Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao (10 pieces) is absolutely amazing! Along with the Chicken Spicy Wontons (8 pieces), they are my top favorites. The Sautéed String Beans with Garlic are also incredibly tasty.

There's truly nothing like the delightful flavors of this Taiwanese cuisine. The Kurobuta Pork Xiao Long Bao (10 pieces) are succulent and thoroughly enjoyable. We're also huge fans of the cold Soy Noodle Salad; it’s wonderfully refreshing. The Shrimp Kurobuta Pork Shao Mai are the perfect dumpling, with a delicious broth that spills onto your chin. Everything here is simply delightful!

This was my first time placing an order, and I will certainly return for more. Both the Pork Chop Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice were fantastic! The portions might be a bit small, but they are definitely worth the price!

I truly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant! Every dish we tried was delightful. The dumplings were especially amazing, with the spicy wontons and fried pork dumplings being my top picks, though it was hard to choose just one favorite. I highly suggest bringing a large group to enjoy a broader selection of dishes. A wonderful surprise was how delicious the chocolate bao bun was—it was truly remarkable. The staff was also fantastic, helping us with our orders just before the kitchen closed.
