Alpine Village - Torrance

It is a great place to have fun, to dance, meet friends and eat well. George, Jose, Tina and the rest of the staff are very friendly.

Lunch in the alpine market cafe. was very good and cheap. will go back there.

I went to this restaurant for the first time Friday night, what a nice restaurant. The staff is very attentive, food is good and there was a great band. I think the name of the band was Harbor Groove. The dance floor is very large and the band made the evening very pleasant. The Harbor Groove Band will play here again on 9/01 so that I will definitely go again this night for more great food and dancing.

There is a huge tent set up during October fest. There is also a huge swap meet next door. The place is quite quiet during the weekend even in there shops area. There is an old bookstore, show shop cobbler, trinkets souvenir shop and even a dentist. Germans do celebrate in the market restaurant drinking wine and having a good time. The market?s deli and bakery is busy during the weekend with many people buying the many sausages and pastries and breads on offer. And there is a huge selection of beer at export prices.
