Eat At Dan Steph’s - Torquay

This is a great spot for brunch if you enjoy playful dishes like red velvet pancakes served with a Cornetto. The coffee is also excellent. However, I'm still taken aback by the menu item called 'Moroccan pork.' I wonder if future menus will include options like a Lebanese ham hock or an Israeli bacon sandwich. The seating is available on a covered deck with good airflow. It is on the pricier side.

This restaurant was on my bucket list, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The food, service, and overall experience were nearly perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive, truly a credit to the owners. We ordered the Pork Belly and a Mexican Chicken Bowl, both of which were bursting with flavor and served in generous portions. I couldn’t resist trying one of Dan's Pork sausages, and wow, they were amazing—possibly the best I've ever had. I also enjoyed the Sangria, which was delightful, especially with the dried orange slice on top. My only regret is not getting the chance to meet Dan and Steph; I would have loved to say hello and chat about local farm gate options. They are my all-time favorites from MKR. Wishing them all the best for their next season of Eats!

This was definitely one of the best breakfasts we've ever enjoyed at a restaurant. We highly recommend this place! The presentation, flavor, and service all deserve five stars. Thank you!

Had breakfast here on a Friday morning and I was seriously impressed with the quality food and coffee and the fast friendly service. Our coffee was perfect and the food was beautiful and came out super fast. Definitely recommend getting a dish with the famous pork sausages. Well played EAT. We will be back.

We had a wonderful breakfast experience at Dan and Steph's. Jasmine makes the BEST turmeric lattes and Mikayla was so lovely with her attention, as well as the other friendly staff. Only disappointment was not seeing the lovely Steph. Highly recommend. Great service team, you were incredible.
