YoYo's Yogurt Cafe - Bloor - Toronto

I am disappointed by the lack of variety in fruit flavors at this restaurant. It feels like I could just eat a popsicle instead. While it's great that the cookie dough topping is vegan, it doesn't pair well with lemon or mango ice. If you're looking for a rich and delicious soy chocolate option, head over to Hotel Gelato on Eglinton near Spadina. That's where the vegan cookie dough belongs!

Yoyo's in Toronto is a great place for vegans looking for fronoyo options. They offer two non-dairy flavors each day, although they are all water-based and only fruity flavors are available. The fruity flavors are decent, but some may find them too sweet. It would be great if they offered soy vanilla or soy chocolate options as well. The toppings are clearly labeled as vegan, with a large selection including cookie dough. I would give this restaurant a 3 1/2 cow review, but I'll round up to 4 cows.

Only fruit aromas. I'm tired of it, I can just eat a popcycle. Yeah, that's nice that the goose is vegan to eat, but what should you eat with it? Mango ice? It just doesn't work. on the way to eglington around the spadina hotel gelato there is a rich soybean chocolate. that is where the vegan keksteig should go!

Yoyo’s seems to be one of the better fronoyo places in toronto for vegans. every day there are two options without bath. Unfortunately there is no soy taste, it is all water based so only fruity aromas. the fruity aromas are not bad (they can be a bit too sweet), but I would really love if they had a soy vanilla or soy chocolate. but all vegan toppings are clearly marked and there is a great selection of them including keksteig! I'd say this is more of a 3 1/2 cow evaluation, but I'm gonna turn around.

While it's great that the Keksteig topping is vegan, the lack of suitable accompaniments like lemon ice cream or mango ice just doesn't work. If you're heading towards Eglington near the Spadina Hotel, try the rich soy chocolate gelato instead. That's where the vegan keksteig would truly shine.
