White Lily Diner - Toronto

We came here tonight for dinner. It opened only a month ago, but you 'd never know it. The food and service were seamless. With about 29 seats, this place can get busy fast, especially for brunch, we hear. The menu is comfort food, with an emphasis on brunch items, but also some solid choices for lunch and dinner in the way of sandwiches and 'patty melts ', an assortment of patties served on incredibly yummy breads: toasted, buttery, amazing breads. We ordered the charred broccoli and WOW, was it ever amazing. A sauce with a kick made this dish so, so good. By the end of that and my Breakfast Patty Melt (with a burger, bacon and an egg and more , I was stuffed : Great portion sizes. My Manhattan was expertly prepared, too. The wines and beers are thoughtfully chosen as well. Loved the music, and the general vibe. All in all this local spot is great, and we will be back!

This restaurant offers a sophisticated twist on traditional diner dishes. The food is absolutely delicious. I am very picky when it comes to pancakes, and this place completely exceeded my expectations. They cook their eggs 'over easy' perfectly. The drink options are fantastic. Jazz music plays in the background, adding to the ambiance. I will definitely be returning here regularly. I give it a perfect score of 10 out of 10.

I just had the best meatloaf dinner of my life at this restaurant. The food was incredible and the staff was so friendly. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Always a pleasure! This is our favorite place to go. The hostess is very welcoming. The music adds to the cozy atmosphere and the delicious food is the reason we keep returning!

I have gone to the diner on two separate occasions and each time, have absolutely fallen in love with the food. New meets traditional with the diner food that is offered at the White Lily. It's all comfort and you truly leave wanting to come every single day to try their entire menu.
