Wahlburgers - Toronto

Landed in Toronto, and this was only 1 km away from our hotel. The food and service was great start to finish. Hot, fresh, and tasty, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food at a reasonable price.

Unfortunately ordered the bacon topped Mac and cheese and was not a fan. The macaroni was overcooked and the cheese sauce was very bland. Although a firm believer that everything is better with bacon, it couldn't make up for the rest of the dish. (Should have had the hot dog special like hubby, the taste I had was very good.

I was really looking forward to trying Wahlburgers for the first time, but I was extremely disappointed with the food. I ordered the chicken sandwich, and it was not good at all - I couldn't even finish it, and the fries were very bland. My friends ordered the beef burgers and said they were dry. I would not go back based on my experience with the food. On a positive note, the service was good.

Donnies BBQ was just as great as it was in Boston. However, the fries were not as good as they were back home and they were a different style. Do they still use those sticky ketchup packs? It would have been nice to have a bottle instead. The atmosphere was completely different from the one in Boston, too calm for my liking. Overall, it felt like just another fancy burger joint.
