Had breakfast twice here while in Toronto this summer and the food was great. The menu was quite extensive and the service was good, friendly staff. Good coffee and convenient hours.

Now called The Thompson Diner, this place has some great food - if you know what to order. The breakfasts are great - I have yet to be disappointed with anything. But there are a few items on the lunch and dinner menu I would avoid. The beef burgers. Sadly theses are always overlooked to the point where the meat is dry and flavourless. The mac & cheese is not very cheesy. Tastes more like bechamel than a cheese sauce. But the turkey burgers are great, as is the Reuben and the fried chicken, with buttermilk sauce, is AMAZING.
