Swiss Chalet - Toronto

Takeout, located at 4211 Yonge St in Willowdale, was a disappointing experience. The fries were greasy and seemed to have never been drained of oil, which is quite unhealthy. Additionally, the kids' pizza was burnt, which can be harmful if consumed regularly. The manager offered a meager 80% credit as appeasement, accompanied by a generic apology. Despite reaching out to Recipe Inc's CEO, Frank Hennessey, via email, I never received a response.

The food here is absolutely delicious! The manager is constantly checking in to ensure everything is to your liking, which is very thoughtful. I really enjoyed my meal, and the dessert was exceptional.

Swiss Chalet is a fantastic all-round restaurant that has been satisfying my appetite for nearly 40 years. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place to dine in. The waitstaff is efficient and always ready to offer suggestions when putting together my order, which I appreciate. I never feel rushed to finish my meal, thanks to the excellent service. Thank you for a great experience.

I highly recommend the 5 piece tenders. Super delicious, crispy, and especially flavourful with the plum sauce. Quarter white chicken always hits. It’s the bomb. There’s nothing significantly negative I would point out about the food and atmosphere at the dining area. All-in-all great and friendly staff. Definitely would come again with my family next time.

The food was fresh, and appealing, and service was excellent. Plates were a little basic looking on delivery to the table.
