Sushi On Bloor - Toronto

Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had at a great price! Always visit when I’m in Toronto.

This area used to be home to many many sushi options. The numbers have shrank in recent years but a classic like this place never goes away. Top notch service, food, and prices. The only issue, if it is one, is that they are slight victims of their own success as the number of diners makes waiting for a table an occasional task you must handle. Otherwise go there hungry and have a good time!Parking: Public lot nearby north of Bloor has plenty of space normally.

Service: It is hard to believe that there is a restaurant in Toronto with faster service than Sushi Bloor. Menus are given to you as soon as you are seated, and soup is served within seconds. It appears that everyone is offered soup, salad, and dessert regardless of what they order. Perhaps they should consider changing the name to In and Out Sushi. We were in and out in 30-40 minutes. Food: Thankfully, the restaurant is busy because the freshness of the ingredients makes up for the lack of flavor.

One of my most visited restaurants in all of Toronto in my 5 year stay here, I know the staff on a personal level at this point. They greet you with warm soup and send you off with ice cream, both on the house. It’s become a favorite date and catch up spot for me. Fresh food, amazing prices and quick service. I was recommended to visit this place a long time ago. We were very satisfied. We especially enjoyed the sashimi. And the staff is friendly.The place is quite popular, so you might have to wait a bit. But they took care of that too, there are chairs inside for waiting.
