Contribuiți la feedbackEverything about the appearance of the place suggested pub grub and beer. And they did have both in abundance. But the grub I ate was pretty awful. It was called a Pork schnitzel with tomato and lettuce. The place seemed to feature a lot of schnitzel food so I thought it would be the safe choice. But it tasted like a pad of paper on burned toast. Really burned flavored bread, like the bun was held over a greasy tallow candle and blackened with the soot. The schnitzel was as thin as a paper napkin and dry and tough as cardboard. My dining partner ordered a burger and was described by her as ok...I'll never know if the other offerings are any good because I'll not likely return. The beer I ordered did come in a full pint glass, which was good.$72 for 2 beers and 2 below average sandwich meals.Yucko!
Found by chance while walking. The atmosphere has something of an Irish pub. The beer selection is gigantic. The waitress is well informed and can advise you. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented. Full marks here. The atmosphere is relaxed. To eat: I had a chicken schnitzel with pepper sauce and potatoes. What felt like two minutes after ordering, the food was already served. I think this is not about cooking but about speed. Unfortunately the food is also accordingly. The schnitzel is somehow tasteless. The pepper sauce makes it somewhat edible. The potatoes are pureed and have a barby doll color. The only plus point is that the quantity is enough to fill you up.I'm happy if you like my review ?
Perfect place. Amazing service. Cold and large selection of drinks. Great service.
Came with a friend for our monthly friend/food crawl. It was my turn and I picked this spot. They’ve got an amazing selection of beers from all over.We ordered the schnitzel and make sure to order sauce with it, worth it. The mushroom one is better in my humble opinion.Prices are reasonable as well.I’ll definitely come back. I’d even bring an actual date here.
I enjoyed the great variety of beers available at this restaurant. Although I heard that the selection may not have been as extensive as before, I tried the amazing Liefmans Fruitesse beer, which was a very interesting and fruity option. The service was quick and efficient. I visited on a Friday evening at 4:30 and it was not very busy. For vegetarians, they offer a Mediterranean salad and onion rings.
