My order, a muffeletta sandwich, was ready in about 10 minutes, with only one other person in line ahead of me just before noon. The food was decent, but nothing extraordinary.
I stopped by for lunch today and ordered a chicken sandwich. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. However, the sandwich was not freshly cooked and barely warm. I paid nearly $20 for a sandwich and a drink, only to receive old, dry chicken. I have eaten at numerous sandwich shops in San Francisco, College and Clinton, as well as in Mississauga and Vaughan, and have never experienced old, dry chicken. The chicken has always been hot and fresh. I would not recommend wasting money at this restaurant again.
I ordered a panzarotto with green peppers, mushrooms and pepperoni and received one with green olives, mushrooms and NO pepperoni. Poorly cooked and poorly prepared. The veal sandwiches ordered by the rest of my party were no better. Will never order from here again!
Food is always amazing and the garlic parm fries are a must have.
This restaurant is not like the original San Francesco in any way. I specifically went to this location hoping to experience the same great taste of a chicken cutlet sandwich from my childhood memories. However, it is not even listed as that on the menu, but rather as a "bomba chicken sandwich".. ? The breaded cutlet was seasoned with spices that were not typical of Italian cuisine. It was disappointing. I gave it two stars because the bun was decent, and luckily the brio helped wash down the flavors. This should not be advertised as the "original".
