Sake Bar Kushi - Toronto

Unfortunately, the place is no longer like that. Pre-Covid was great! Now that sushi was only ripe, not a fish. my order came wrong and I didn't want to disturb the server because he was the only one that worked. the sashimi were good. for 120$ for two, eating was not the best. very salty, bad quality and small amount of fish. that was my favorite place.

Came here with a group of friends and had a great experience. on Sunday evening it was not too busy, but it was a great time. there was a dressing stand to hang our own dumbbells, like about 9 in a stand joined together (we wanted to sit in the rear room where the table is almost floor level, but room was unfortunately closed). we have the QR code that is linked to our table so that everyone was able to place an order. the food came fast and was delicious. we have a few articles with friendly permission from chef who were very appreciated!

Great place. very friendly staff and eating came fast (but not too fast). I like how they have the stands for more private sphere, relatiw hard to find in toronto. eating was great, sushi was okay, but nothing special. I would recommend trying something else than sushi/rolling and sharing with the table. overall very good experience

Best izakaya I was in toronto hands down! I loved it so much. I and my friend ate and drank well, and we were both very happy with everything. the workers are very nice and friendly, they also gave us a lot of appetizers on the house <3 their stands are separated enough so that people can actually not wait a lot. large selection of drinks, we had 3 bottles of different sake / wine and also tried hot sake! I can't expect to visit again

My favourite Izakaya. Food is awesome, atmosphere is great, and the servers are friendly. I love getting the house sake, plus what's fresh for the day.
