Red Chilli Thai Restaurant - Toronto

Our server was named Ze, and he was incredibly attentive. He was always checking on us, making sure we had everything we needed, like refilling our water and bringing extra napkins when my friend had an accident. Ze was a pleasure to have around. The food was excellent. I ordered the bark in oyster sauce and it was delicious. My friend had the chicken phad thai and really enjoyed it. We also ordered the salad rolls as an appetizer, which were tasty. The food came out quickly and was served hot. I will definitely be coming back.

During my quest for the best Thai cuisine in town, I came across Red Thai Chili. I always judge a Thai restaurant by the quality of their Pad Thai, and unfortunately, this dish fell short. The noodles were dry and lacked sauce, not to mention the presence of carrots and celery, which are not typically found in authentic Pad Thai. The overall meal was cheap and reflected in the quality of the food. The fried egg roll was clearly store-bought and not homemade. There are plenty of other Thai restaurants in the area, and I wouldn't consider this one of the best.

I ordered the pho tak (lemon seafood soup) and was disappointed that the advertised ingredients like shrimp, squid, mussels, and crab meat were not included. The "crab" turned out to be imitation crab sticks. I do not recommend this restaurant.

First visit here in this week, quite accidentally, as the sala thai restaurant next door, which we prehook, does not open. it was a good opportunity to get red chilli and despite its less than attractive outer that is inside. clean, bright and the service was friendly and helpful. there was a weak smell of smoke in the air and when we were inquired, was told that this would have been a fire there 2 or 3 years back? in any case the waiter was friendly. eating came quite fast and was quite delicious. had to start the green mango salad and a delicious coconut curry with avocado and tofu. the seasoned were right and I enjoyed every last spoon.

Okay. The food at Red Chilli Thai was decent. Cheap and a good portion. No liquor licence no AC. Right next door is Sala's which for some reason I cannot bring up on TripAdvisor. Their food is amazing! The masamura curry was sublime and wonderfully...presented. Cannot wait to go back. Again no AC. Liquor license yet. They do a brisk take out business as well. Go.
