Red Chilli Thai Restaurant - Toronto

My wife loves Thai food so to begin Mother's Day weekend we were looking for something close to home. I found Red Chili Thai on line and we were not disappointed. The facade is a bit off-putting but inside was contemporary and clean. Our waiter was very nice and I really enjoyed his recommendation of the mango chicken. Portions are generous and pricing is reasonable. We'll go back.

Good tasty food and excellent prices! No need to break the bank to enjoy a heathy spicy meal in a friendly decor ! Will put this place on my go back list :)

Okay. The food at Red Chilli Thai was decent. Cheap and a good portion. No liquor licence no AC. Right next door is Sala's which for some reason I cannot bring up on TripAdvisor. Their food is amazing! The masamura curry was sublime and wonderfully presented. Cannot wait to go back. Again no AC. Liquor license yet. They do a brisk take out business as well. Go.

We had five different dishes and all were fantastic! Highly recommend! The coconut rice was out of this world!

We have been here twice. The first time seemed decent and so we returned. The second time we came much earlier in the day- around 11:45am for lunch, fifteen minutes after they open. The food came out in two minutes and had clearly been microwaved - some pieces of chicken were hot and others were barely warm and the green curry was somewhat gelatinous. My husband found a piece of plastic in his food - we politely informed the woman at the front and she seemed nonplussed and wasn't interested in even seeing the piece to figure out what had happened in the kitchen. I would not return here.
