Purple Penguin Cafe - Toronto

I visited this restaurant based on a strong recommendation from a friend and it was an amazing experience. The aroma of sesame in the bagels was captivating. The panini was perfectly toasted with melty cheese. The signature "Apple Printers" were freshly fried, hot, and crispy. The Oreo fries made for a delicious dessert. This is the ideal spot for brunch and I highly recommend everyone to come and try it out.

This is a great coffee shop with tasty food choices. While the menu may not be extensive, everything they offer is incredibly delicious. Much better than the Starbucks nearby. Treat yourself and give this place a try. You won't regret it!

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times for breakfast sandwiches and paninis, but unfortunately, the experience was not great. The prices are high for the amount and quality of food, but it's the service that really disappointed me. On one occasion, we ordered 3 items for 2 people and they forgot one of the orders. Another time, we ordered a panini with an egg, but they forgot the egg. The last time we went, it was around 3:10 PM and when we placed our order, the staff asked if it was for here or to go. We said for here, but they ended up making it to go because their dining room was closing in 20 minutes. We felt rushed and didn't appreciate being pushed out, especially after being asked our preference in the first place.

Super cute small cafe! If you are looking for a place with great sweet treats and a variety or sweet or strong coffee and teas, this is the place! Has seating for those looking to park and do some work or reading. Service was kind and informative. Didn't try the food but have heard (and seen) good things!

The Americano was great, but the food was extremely disappointing for the price. My cookie was stale and the lettuce on my ELT was brown and rotten.
