Once we finally got the service, the food appeared pretty fast. eating was pretty good, but the 2 stars are for bad service. after we were served, our waiter disappeared. we understand that they were busy, but I can see that he chatted in the back without having to worry about his customers. as soon as we were ready to go, we waited 20 minutes, that I finally got up and went to the money for my bill. I waited a little longer and finally paid it and went. bottom line, good eating, bad service.
I didn't even go after seeing the most coworkers without masks that are the law during this epidemic. this place does not care about her or her health. here begins the second wave.
That is a beautiful pizza place in the neighbourhood. funny decoration inside. our server was friendly and our pizza came in good speed. the gorgeous thin crust pizza was delicious, and the fresh arugula on the top was a real tasty bite, she reminded us of pizzas we had on an earlier Italian holiday. we were the only guests, and we believe that the government has closed all restaurants in the city a few days later. we would eat here again!
It is halfway between a typical pizza joint and a noble pizza joint. eating and the wee were both pretty good. our server was very nice. I had the birne gorgonzola pizza and it was good a thin crust pizza that was not quite thin and. crispy enough for me, but not bad. the bruschetta was really good and the wine list was not bad for a pizza place. the tomaten soup was too good, not only a chemical roughness of a rubber hose; she had a really good time in it. it was the second day our waiter worked and he was really nice. we were served quickly, he has completely right our order, and he has not upset us. the music was too loud. there were actually two different streams of music at once, but you were very little volume. the loudest stream was however pure autotune pop-rap and had commercials between songs. it was a little too loud. I don't think I'd go back, but that's not because I had a bad experience; it's just that if I paid $100 for two pizzas, a suppe, bruschetta and wein, I would be a little more gourmet Ish. the wein was the half of the bill. it is also only about 80 steps away from second city. very practical when they go there to a show. Oh, it would be nice if they repaired their website; only the main page worked for me and all the others missing.
We ordered take out here the night we arrived in Toronto as this place was close to our hotel and we thought how could you go wrong with Italian food? The wait time for food was actually pretty quick. That was one of the few...positives. We ordered two meals and an appetizer of arancini. The arancini were actually quite good and I would recommend ordering those. It was the rest of the meal that was a huge disappointment. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were small and tasted like they were frozen meatballs from a store, not handmade as they claimed. The pasta was nothing special and the sauce was much spicier than I thought it would be. My husband got a 3 meat calzone and while it lists that there are hot peppers in it, there were a ridiculous amount of them. My husband can normally handle heat and spice and his eyes were tearing up and he couldn't even finish it. Based on our experience, we would not return or recommend this restaurant.
