Worst, most wet paper towel “poke” i’ve had in my life. Don’t have high standards for poke in the city but not even marinating your fish is a new low. And it’s not fresh with a strong fishy taste. Why even call it poke at that point, it’s just raw fish over some veg and rice. Also made two orders that I know for a fact were ordered after me before mine? Wild.
The smoked tofu bowl was mediocre. The portion size was good, but the tofu was served cold which was disappointing. Smoked tofu is supposed to be hot and smoky. Additionally, there was not enough sauce provided. Overall, I did not enjoy the bowl.
Sooo this used to be my go to for build your own. But today I ordered a torched salmon bowl and selected half rice half greens for the base. None of the basic toppings that shoulda come with this bowl, came with this bowl. There was no option to de-select the toppings, so I would assume that you know, a preset bowl should be, you know, preset? The only ones available were additional for a fee. Very disappointed.
I really enjoyed the taro chip nachos at this restaurant - they were the best thing on the menu! The poke bowls were also great. I suggest adding more items to the menu, like Takoyaki.
