My Thai Kitchen - Toronto

This was my first time trying My Thai Kitchen and I will definitely be ordering again. I am a huge fan of Thai food, especially Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. I have tried many Thai restaurants, from Thai express to Pai, and I will now add My Thai Kitchen to my list of favorite Thai restaurants to visit. Not only is the food delicious, but the portions are huge. I am always left wanting more when I eat Pad Thai from other places, but I had to split my meal in half when I ordered it from here. I am looking forward to returning to the restaurant to try more of their delicious dishes. If you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine, I highly recommend My Thai Kitchen. This was such a chill spot! The vibe was on point and the food and service is excellent. I had the pad-see-ew with shrimp and it was great. Nothing fancy which was fine with me. Service was good too.

I had heard many recommendations for Pai before coming to Toronto, so I was excited to visit. I made reservations on OpenTable a few weeks in advance to ensure we had a table. When we arrived on time for our reservation, we were seated immediately. The restaurant initially seemed small, but as we walked further in, I was impressed by the size of the space. The vibe and look of the restaurant reminded me of the night markets in Thailand. We ordered the Northern Thai Platter, which was delicious and generous in portion size. My favorites were the squash fritters and pork skewers. The Laab salad was good, but I found the Northern Thai Sausage to be too heavy on lemongrass for my taste. The Papaya Salad was spicy, but not significantly different from others I have tried. The Plah Nua was very fresh and well-prepared, a dish I don't have often. The Pad See Ew was also very good. The service was attentive and friendly, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant added to the enjoyment of the meal. It was clear that everyone dining there was having a great time. I am happy I visited Pai and would definitely return for the good food, service, and ambiance.

Make sure you book to get into this restaurant! Absolutely amazing food and amazing staff! I had the spring rolls to start and the chicken and shrimp pad thai (spicy) and it was absolutely mouthwateringly delicious! Cannot recommend enough! The only thing I didn't like, was food being served on plastic plates. Apart from that it was a great evening of food and drink!

If you are looking for real Thai food, your search ends here. This small little restaurant is serving authentic Thai food full of flavours that reminded me of the food I had in Bangkok. Priced very reasonably, the portions are surprisingly big. We feel lucky to have found this gem and are going to be back soon.
