Moretti Caffe Toronto

I recently organized a company holiday dinner for 14 people at Pizzeria Moretti, and it was a wonderful experience. The owner, Gianni, provided us with a selection of preset menus to choose from. When we arrived, our guests were warmly welcomed by both Gianni and the friendly staff, and were directed to the bar to join the rest of the group. After enjoying some drinks and appetizers at the bar, we were invited to sit down for dinner. The meal was served promptly, and the food was delicious, hot, and abundant. We never felt rushed, and the attentive service from the well-trained staff made the evening even more enjoyable. We absolutely enjoy dining here whenever we're in Toronto for a theater experience. The staff is incredible, and we always feel very welcomed. The caprese burrata salad is simply delicious, and the pizza is also fantastic. They have a great selection of wines too.

The food was decent overall. I noticed that both pasta dishes we ordered were slightly undercooked. Our server could have been a bit more attentive, as it took some time for them to check on us. On a positive note, the calamari was excellent!

Overall good. Pace of service could use improvement none really came around to check if we needed anything, followed up once food was delivered how it was... very surprised Slow to bring drinks. Food wasn't piping hot more warm. The group platters are offered but when asking about it, Lots Of confusion and then took 20+ min to get more info. At that point, we already decided on something as it was nearly 930pm. No one got us from the bar for our 9pm reservation. We were disappointed as we came before 8pm and sat at the bar but told the waitress and hostess if we can get a table sooner that would be preferred. At 9pm we had to go ask and no one came to us to seat us. There were 3 open tables and 2 never got filled till much later we could have been sitting there. Poor planning and organization overall. Drink prices for what you get are over priced completely.

Everyone who I dealt with especially the server treated us with the upmost respect and I felt like I was at home. The food was phenomenal. Great tasting and I left very satisfyingly full.
