Mexico Lindo - Toronto

We travel to Mexico multiple times each year and the food offered at Mexico Lindo is the most traditionally accurate Mexican Food north of the Wall

We arrived after 6 p.m on a Friday night and the place was busy but we were seated immediately. The restaurant has a warm family friendly vibe. There were tables with couples and tables with families with children. You get the feeling that many of the patrons are regulars here. It is a warm cozy restaurant with friendly staff. We were served quickly but after we finished our meal it took awhile for our waiter to return with the cheque because at this point the restaurant was quite busy and there is not a lot of staff. I am sure it is this way to keep the costs down. We ordered the beef burrito and chicken enchilada combo which comes with salad, rice and refried beans. It was delicious. A home cooked Mexican meal-not fancy-but good. The food was authentic and you can tell that they care about the quality and flavours of their food. There was even a fresh rose in a vase on the table ! You must order their home made guacomole which comes with warm chips and hot sauce on the side. We will definitely return. It was like a trip to Mexico without the jet lag !

My boyfriend and I love this place! I always get the Tabasco and am never disappointed. There is another location as well in Scarborough but this one I prefer as it has more of a sit down restaurant feel where the other location is more of a take out even though they have a few tables available.

Went on Good Friday with visiting friends. Mexico Lindo is a local restaurant for me and I'll be going back. The food was very good and reasonable portion sizes. The service was good, The highlight was the margaritas. So good that we ordered a second pitcher.

Family friendly. Really great food. We arrived for our reservation but still waited 20 min. The restaurant was extremely busy with one person doing it all - seating, waiting and bussing all the tables. As a result the waits were long, the service hurried, but the food was great.
