Mayrik - Toronto

Every dish was made fresh with care, and their service was so lovely. Their knafeh was hands down the best I’ve had, melt in your mouth. Go there now!

I gave one star, just because there is no option to give 0 stars!This was one of the worst restaurants I have ever been to in Toronto.They aced every feature that a horrible restaurant might have. The atmosphere is depressing The staff are rude service is super slow, we were the only customers today, and had to wait 40 minutes for our food. The portions are ridiculously small, maybe like an appetizer in a normal restaurant (see photo) The beef plate had 4 small pieces of meat, and was 23$. The stake plate, which was supposed to be 6 oz, was barely 3 oz.Too late for us, save yourselves.

Amazing atmosphere and staff… they make sure you have everything you need from the moment you walk in. The owner is welcoming and staff patiently told us about the popular dishes. The food quality is amazing… this was my second time at the restaurant and i will definitely coming back with my friends! Thank you ??

The branzino was perfect- moist and full of flavour. Accompanied by a generous amount of capers and cherry tomatoes. The potatoes are served with an addictive garnish. We had a dry red Armenian wine that proved to be excellent value. Finished with tasty, but not too sweet, baklava.

Accidents happen right? Every now and then, despite a delicious meal, something happens over the course of the evening and that makes or breaks the experience. The evening we dined at Mayrik their payment system was playing up and we were charged for another table's meal. The restaurant staff handled it with grace and rectified it immediately. Not only did we enjoy a delicious meal which came in good time, as well as genuine and warm hospitality, our server made sure the issue at the end of the evening was resolved promptly, and she gave us a sincere apology for the mix up. Some businesses just know how to handle bumps in the road professionally and Mayrik is one of them.
