Now I only had Pierogis when I moved to the east coast (US) the fact that it was a whole restaurant dedicated to them?!? Sign me! We looked over the menu and made our decisions. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken and my partner decided to smoke Pig Roast Pierogis. We also ordered the Fried Cauliflower to start. I was in heaven with what we ordered. Everything tasted great. plenty of filling, and the flavors were great. We noticed they had desserts. Sweet Apple and Caramel Pierogis, break, DESSERT PIEROGIS, yes!!! And then we also ordered the Loaded Fried Brownies. If I could double my score and give 10, I would. The service was great and our server was merciless and occupied my questions, obviously that we visited the states. All in all, I could see going back, we should be back in Toronto.
We visited Toronto from the middle Atlantic region of the USA, we were used to eat and love Pierogis, but never so. We thought we would try and we were certainly not disappointed. We both split our Pierogis half cooked and half roasted. We both agreed that fried the way is to go! The thought had never occurred to us to use these delicious little potatoes filled pastas as a basis for a whole meal as we had eaten them only as a side. We make our own loaded Pierogis at least once a month! Delicious!
My two teenagers and I just left Queen Street. After a weekend in Toronto full of highly respected restaurants, this by FAR was our favorite! We tried the butter chicken, the Kohlpflasterkind and the Speck Sauerkraut-Pierogies as well... the Brussel sprout Caesar Salat and they were all delicious! The salad was a special hit. Our server was fantastic! Comfortable, friendly and efficient. All amazing!
It's about the Pierogi-both cooked and roasted. Great concept for a specialized restaurant and they do a good job. The buffalo chickens Pierogi were my favorite. Whether you have a snack or a meal, this place will be satisfied.
My partner and I visited this location and we ordered a dirty martini and received Olive brine with one part vodka,he then proceeded to tell us that this Martini was probably one of the worst martinis he's ever made but didn't take it back to...fix it. also I placed an order, he didn't write it down and came back and gave me the wrong order I asked him to fix the martini which he did I asked for a standard which then came back and tasted like rubbing alcohol, also to top that off the second Martini that he gave us the glass he gave it to us in was dirty had water marks and food stains he didn't fix any of it, he saw me cleaning it and decided to ignore it the glass was also half filled. He also told an uber driver to enjoy their life instead of saying enjoy your evening. Now to top that all off he proceeded to ignore me after I asked him to fix my pierogi order and my drink. But the food was good once my order was corrected.
