Contribuiți la feedbackI found this place while going through numerous Indian place to eat on Diwali. This is cozy little place on Dundas and Runnymede. There was plenty of Parking on the street. I like the vibe the the neighborhood. This place is decorated beautifully with Indian Modern ambience and has a bar as well. The menu is not too big and There are some experimental items which you won't usually find in Indian cuisine. Appetizers : We ordered Eggplant Fries and Paneer Tikka. Eggplant fries could have been crisper but still were tasty served with 3 chutneys. Paneer Tikka oozes with Flavour and soft from inside. Spicy Madras Chicken had lots of flavors and zest with a sambar essence . Asparagus Kofta is so creamy and surprisingly tasty which i never expected . The butter naans were so fluffy from the inside and they just tasted so fresh like heaven. There are only 4 cocktails and we ordered 3 i.e Bengal Mojito,Madras Gimlet and Bollywood Gin Tonic . All were quite refreshing and had great taste with Indian style ingredients unlike other indian places . The service was quite well . It has one gender neutral washroom which is quite spacious. I definitely recommend this place. 4.5 /5
A fantastic place for Indian food, especially for those that are sensitive with spices. My wife and I found this place and we went to try the staple butter chicken and biryani (she loves this). The food was flavourful and the butter chicken is infused with coal (as you can see in the attached pic) giving it a fantastic flavour. The biryani was very well made. The rice was cooked very well with the right amount of spices. My wife requested the server to have it made extremely mild and they complied. Highly recommend this place to anyone in GTA.
The eggplant was fantastic. The lamb was amazing. As a person that does not eat much spicy food it was very reasonable. Friendly staff. Big plates, is good to share.
Food and service was excellent. my favorite was the butter chicken we got with the butter and the garlic naan. the server was very friendly and nice, and even gave us complementary dessert. I also loved the interior of the restaurant. the design and layout was very nice. would definitely come back
For the GTA this place is probably one of the best Indian cuisine places I’ve had. The food is full of flavours and cooked just right. The service is very generous and kind and offered us Gulab on the house which was phenomenal. Only better if is that the lamb biryani can honestly use more meat for the amount of rice.
