Lakeside Local Patio - Toronto

This place is a great location to enjoy the sights and sounds of the harbourfront centre numerous cultural events. This place felt as if I was sitting in my backyard with friends. Great space.

I went to Lakeside Local Patio on a misty, slightly rainy day so I did not sit outside. The rain wasn't too heavy so the views were still nice. The place was not crowded and I was seated quickly. The vegetarian pizza was just ok.

This may be the best (expensive at $15.50) bacon cheeseburger I have ever eaten. The patty was fresh, no frozen pre-fab. The fries, on the other hand, were awful. They were fully cooked, but the texture was al dente. I have no idea how it's possible to have that happen. This is the reason for the 3 stars. If the fries had been good, this would be a 4-star rating. The views are great, as is the people watching. The noise from the constant planes taking off was annoying, but it was worth it for the burger and the view.

Visited during the week around lunchtime for a quick drink while waiting for a boat cruise.Nice location - right on the waterfront. Several large umbrellas to shade from the heat. Service was quick and drinks were cold. We enjoyed sitting back and watching the boats coming in and going out while we sipped on a cold drink.

Looking for a simple, inexpensive sit-down place along the Toronto harborfont, this fit the bill. Got the vegetarian pizza which was more than enough for a meal and was good. It took 20 minutes for pizza, but the waiter let us know that beforehand and was very attentive.
