Katz's Delicatessen - Toronto

Saw this place as I was looking for another and decided to try it. Glad I did. Had the smoked meat. Worthwhile choice. Decent price and generous portions. Cafeteria style restaurant.

My husband and I had not been here in 20 years but went yesterday and could not believe that the portions are just as huge and the food was just as good as all those years ago. We both took home half of our corned beef on rye. I was stunned that the portions were still so large and yes, the food was still great. I am not sure why we stayed away for so long other than we live way across the city. Truly a great meal!!!

Great deli, we tried smoked meat, corn beef, and roast beef. The first two had better taste. It is bit pricy since it is a cafeteria style restaurant, and sandwiches do not come with side, every thing is separated. I think I will go back again.

I used to be a regular at this place back in the mid 90s when I was living in Toronto. I m glad to see that the quality of their famous corned beef sandwich is still as good as it has been.This is a place you go to for a good meal especially when you are hungry.

Katz's is about as good as any true deli in the GTA. My deli favorite is either a corned beef on rye or a Reuben which is just modification of the same. The corned beef is fresh and delicious and piled on as you might be used to at, like I said, any true deli.Katz's is really no better but certainly no worse than most other places. In the area, they're definitely the go-to place.
