House of Wong - Toronto

I just finished ordering beef and broccoli, which is always okay. I then decided to order the Jumbo egg rolls, which turned out to be the worst things ever. If 1.5 inches are considered jumbo, then wow. Not to mention the extra 2 tablespoons of old grease at the bottom of the bag that they were fried in. These were absolutely the worst egg rolls I have ever tasted. I was not impressed at all and it was a waste of $4.10.

The food at this restaurant is reasonably fresh and tasty, but it could benefit from reducing the amount of sodium. The service is good, but the atmosphere could use some improvement as the restaurant is in need of a renovation. Because of this, we usually opt to order takeout instead of dining in. We hope that they keep their prices reasonable, add more healthy options to the menu, and most importantly, continue to prioritize using fresh ingredients.

Woman was rude and abrupt on the phone when I placed the order.The egg rolls were overly greasy and burnt. Hot and sour was okay

Jumbo egg rolls are the best on the menu. Lowest quality chicken ive ever had. Stick to the chicken balls and american style. Dont go here for haka.

Rising prices have made ordering take out a rare treat. House Of Wong used to be my favourite place. On, 9-27-2023, the pork fried rice, and egg roll, were still good, as well as the General Tao Chicken, though the container was under filled. However, the chicken wings were very small, overcooked, and dry. Over half the order of jumbo breaded shrimps were so overcooked and dry, I could not chew them. These two items are my main reason to order, I was so disappointed. Even frozen meals are more satisfying. This will be my last order from House Of Wong.
