Contribuiți la feedbackYesterday I brought my friend to this beautiful place Junction for birthday brunch. It was my first time in this place; I even like this better than college one. My friend had waffles and she said they were delicious! I... became for better Bennies and it was just perfect (you can see for yourself on the photo below). I would also recommend soy milk latte that I will be back for as well as some dinner dishes the next weekend. Service was exceptional. Vegan or not you will love this place.
This is the second or third visit to this pleasant little restaurant. Not as vegetarians we don't always look for this kind of institution. On a very good recommendation from a friend, we first tried last autumn and were so impressed that we have returned for a few times. The food was not only delicious, but the presentation was very professional. Dishes that I never thought to try not only very tasty, but very healthy. The decor has been refreshed since our last visit and a beautiful touch of a fresh flower on each table ensured a very pleasant and clean atmosphere. If you've always wanted to taste vegan dishes, but were afraid, not. Visit this beautiful place and the friendly staff will help you decide.
Jill and I were on a vegan journey without cereals, not sugar. This trip was challenging, but it was worth it. I feel better than 20 years ago. One of the side benefits is that I lose 60 #s of...fat. We thought we'd try grassshopper as we were in Toronto. When we came out of the car, we felt this positive bus on Dundas St., West. Such a lively street! By the way, after six parking spaces on the street is free. The restaurant had a simple decor. We were lucky to get a window seat to watch the action on the street. Our server was very helpful and patient with us when we did not go through our grain search. Usually, if you cut out some green component, they only have one limit. They took out the crumbs on the Caesar salad and replaced them with enjoyable roasted chickpeas. Our food had a beautiful presentation and taste. The food was really seasoned!!! We'll be back soon.
While the food at this restaurant is delicious, the live plants they use for decoration indoors are halfway dead because their pots are completely dry. What is the point of having plants if you don't take care of them? Are they just there to display ignorance? I took it upon myself to water some of the plants with the drinking bottle on my table, but this is not the first time I have had to do this. I do not enjoy being surrounded by dying plants while trying to enjoy my meal. It is hard to truly savor the food in a place like this.
I have visited this restaurant twice now and it is small with a friendly staff who are willing to answer any questions about the menu. I tried the beet burger and the soup was amazing. I recommend asking about the soup of the day! I will definitely return and hope that the menu continues to change.
