Good View - Toronto

I had taken out twice. always the same chicken blackberry sauce. consistent and satisfying lunch. it is Canadian Chinese food, but not authentic. prices are higher than other places close.

Craved chinese food...craving satisfied with the content of my heart. so good. owners are kind and nice to speak. together!

I have dined twice during my 5-day stay in toronto at good view. their are some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. it is very fresh and tasty, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. highly recommended!

I've been eating here for over 12 years. eating was always consistent and the service was great. tonight I stop picking up my regular order and gassing when she (the owner) told me the price. then she confirmed my order,...no mistake, and tells me that their prices are adjusted (match what? she didn't say) but my usual $35 order was now $46, what the ****?! then she tells me I can give you 20% this time. How does the suppe go from $5.50 to $7.95, the reserveribs from $12.95 to $17.95 and the fried rice from $14.95 to $19.95, all in one? I asked them if the parts have become bigger and they answered oh, I don't know. Maybe some of them. of course, to say that without my order I have gone out and did not return. how to alienate their long-term customers and kill their business in a fast cash money. to happiness there are many other great inexpensive option in the city, such as rol san and wah too.

Just finished a superb rice combo meal. Restaurant seems especially clean food was freshly cooked just for us. Modest dining area with a dozen tables. Business appears to be mostly take out. Very pleased we walked in.
