George's BBQ - Dundas E. - Toronto

I absolutely love George's Deli. I have been a customer since the late 90s to the early 2000s. The food is always hot, fresh, and incredibly delicious. Recently, I returned after 25 years and it was still just as delicious, hot, fresh, and affordable.

Fair prices, quick service, large servings. this place is one of Toronto's best kept secrets. Their rotisserie chicken and gravy recipe put anything Swiss Chalet has to offer to shame. Don't let the appearance of the surrounding area deter you from giving them a try.. that's something beyond their control and the staff do a good job of not allowing the local riff raff from loitering in front.Important note: it's cash only.. there's a small ATM by the cash register if you need, but no interact or credit card facility.

Best burgers downtown Toronto. Wings are cooked to perfection. Only missing blue cheese dip for them hot ones lol

These guys missed one of my orders that I already paid for not cool. Food was solid next time make sure to get the order right. Not much I can do other than give them a 3 star review.

Very frequent costumer for 6 years of all George's BBQ locations.Last couple of times I have visited this store, I have had problems but haven't complained.However, last one was THE WORST...I purchased 2 entire chickens and some sides to take out and both of them were SUPER BAD. Anyone could eat or even smell the chicken. We had to throw them entirely!! They cooked and sold SPOILED food!!Not planning to go there anymore, eventhough I live close.Highly recommend purchasing from the other locations, owners are friendlier and stores are cleaner too.
