Fionn MacCool's Irish Pub - Toronto

We usually tap, but this time not. We waited a long time for the service, and then even longer after the order to drink only water. When the meal arrived, the burgers were boiled and the frits were cold. We weren't asked how our meal was... usually this is about. 5min checked so that we did not have the opportunity to have feedback there and then and have taken corrective action. We paid in cash and left the small change, which was apparently undesirable when the waiter followed us from the restaurant to be ashamed. No one is obliged to typ, sir, especially if the food and service are so mediocre, so try your game a bit.

After a red eye stopped for breakfast and the service was exactly the same as the food. Terrible! Had eggs Benny. It seemed easy to be thrown on the plate. The muffin was not roasted or warm. Not garnish. The packed Hollandaise was tasteless. I should have sent it back. I never go again. Too expensive. Not even the cook seemed to want to be there.

Great service from Mel. Witty and with it. A great hostess with the biggest. Mel was attentive to our needs and recommended good food!

The restaurant appears to be bustling because of its location in the airport with lots of people passing through. However, I did not enjoy my meal. I ordered a special package that was supposed to include beef, carrots, and potatoes in a Yorkshire wrap served with au jus. The beef was tough, the carrots were overcooked, and the potatoes were undercooked. The Yorkshire wrap was greasy and not enjoyable. I will opt for a Subway sandwich on my next trip instead!

On our way back home from Toronto, we occasionally stop at this pub for a meal before boarding the plane. Usually the waitstaff are friendly, however, today our waitress was very unfriendly. She did not smile, was abrupt, not the service we are accustomed to...receiving at the restaurant. Even worse, it became the topic of conversation between ourselves and a few other tables. The poor attitude was very noticable. The food at McCools is very good, and served quickly.
