Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria - Toronto

My friend had fond memories of this restaurant from years past, but it was my first time visiting. The food was tasty, but the service left something to be desired. It seems they have new servers who could benefit from additional training, as our server was uncertain about the cocktail we wanted to order.

I stopped by an hour before closing time, found a seat at the bar, and was pleasantly surprised by the quick service. The food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering and was presented beautifully. The Thursday night atmosphere was lively and inviting, with soft background music. The service was efficient and helped satisfy my hunger. While the pasta dish wasn't outstanding, this is primarily a pizza restaurant so it was not unexpected. Overall, it was a positive dining experience and could be a nice option for a romantic yet casual date night.

Great place, great prices, great staff, great food, great vibe. i've been there twice and honestly will go many more. it's great to sit outside and hang out with friends get cheap drinks, as well as ordering some great pizza. i do want to try their other dishes though but it's hard to stir away from such yummy pizzas. and the service is always great, i've been served by different people and all were really nice and friendly.

$20 bill, including tax and tip, for two glasses of wine and a pizza?! Biggest steal in the city!Granted, we came during Happy Hour, but even their regular menu is dirt cheap. And the pizza and chili oil was surprisingly good too. You’d think with these prices, it’d be filled with students in the area. But to our surprise, it drew a bit of an older crowd.They’ve got a patio on the side street, but unfortunately it was raining during our visit. Would recommend not just for Happy Hour, but for a regular visit.

Really delicious thin crust pizza. Toppings are lovely, nice char on the crust, and the sauce is beautifully balanced. I’m not a big pizza eater but I had no trouble taking down a 12” pie by myself, so keep that in mind when you’re planning order quantities.
