Empire Supper Club - Toronto

They’re trying hard but missing the mark. High prices on food that can, at best, be considered cafeteria quality. I won’t go back and won’t recommend this place.

Good value for the price and convenient if you are going to downtown events nearby.

Came for the show special. Restaurant wasn't busy but service was somewhat slow. Portions for this special menu is tiny. Almost like a kid's menu. Understood it's a set menu but for the value, I'm not sure it was worth it. We were still hungry after our meals. The ambience was nice, until we overheard a staff meeting just on the otherside of us at a dining table inside the restaurant. Heard everything that was going on including use of foul language, etc. I don't think I will be visiting again.

The service was friendly but took forever to get our food, took so long that they gave us a shot of tequila on the house so I guess that was nice. The food was tasty but it was pricey for what it was and the menu is very very limited. The atmosphere was horrible, really loud random electronic music with people screaming by the dj booth. They also took away our table light so we had to eat in the dark. Very weird crowd as well, left before midnight on a Friday. Disappointing but I’m not sure if it’s better on Saturdays or usual Fridays but this night was not the vibe.

Our table had the show special before going to the theatre next door. Food was good overall but portions for dessert were very small. We ordered a bottle of wine and our wine glasses were dirty with lipstick but they apologized for the mistake. Ambience was a bit strange felt like we were in a club with the heavy bass, televisions and the lights, but there were also Roman columns. I think they could benefit from having a change in the atmosphere.
