Daeco Sushi - Toronto

Yummy rolls. Really great sushi in the Yonge and St. Clair neighbourhood. No complaints on anything we tried and the service was great. WiIl definitely return

Visit you won 't regret it. I finally found a great sushi restaurant in my neighbourhood and for a very reasonable price. It 's far better than any of the restaurants around (I 've tried 3 at least) and it costs about the same.<br/ <br/ The fish is fresh this is my main criteria for sushi. I 'm very picky with freshness as I 'm from a family of fishermen on the East Coast.<br/ <br/ My boyfriend and I always order the O makase (chef 's choice) either 25.00 or 30.00. They truely outdo themselves. Everything the chefs send out is fresh, delicious, beautifully presented, and filling. By the end we are both stuffed. If you 're not up for 'chef 's choice ', at least try the seared fish (all of them are delicious).<br/ <br/ The service is immaculate both servers we 've had are very attentive and friendly. I put my scarf on last night and he said he turned the heat on because I was cold!<br/ <br/ It 's well worth a try and a return visit. It 's only a few minutes from the subway stop by foot so don 't let location deter you! This place reminds us of Guu without the hours long wait and higher prices.

Very nice party tray. First of all, if you have read my other reviews, you know that I love Japanese food and I only like the authentic restaurants. Daeco is not a 'true ' authentic Japanese restaurant. HOWEVER, having said that, I still highly recommend based on its freshness of sushi and sashimi. It 's located at the bottom of an office building, not where you would expect a Japanese restaruant to be. I will admit that the reason I even know about this place is it 's close to my condo. But after testing it a couple times, I keep going back for their small sushu party tray for two. The variety and freshness of the sushi is very impressive considering the price $35 plus tax). Consists of 2 large rolls I usually get spicy tuna and spicy salmon) and a LOT of nigiri sushi ...probably around 16 to 18 pieces ...cant remember exactly. Really fresh and nicely decorated. If you are looking for Japanese atmosphere this is not for you. But if you are just looking for a nice reasonably priced place to grab some fresh sushi and the yonge and st clair area then this is a must. It 's better all the other Japanese restaurants in the area, thats 100% sure I guarantee it.

The food was cheaper than other sushi restaurants in this area but quite delicious. I ordered Maki set A which had spicy salmon rolls and salmon rolls. It also came with Miso soup and salad. There was a bit too much tempura and bit too less salmon for a salmon fan like me. The Miso soup was tasty. It had enough mushrooms and green onions. Overall a pretty good experience.

Ordered the maki C set. Well worth the little money compared to sushi places in the area with great flavour. Will and have ordered again!<br/ Great prices and great sushi. <br/ <br/
