Café Cancan - Toronto

Everything was magical, from the man-bun bartender with great drinks and some cool stories to the food, service and ambiance. Will definitely go back, would definitely recommend. We had between us, the French picnic, escargot, steak tartare, duck confit, braised beef cheek, rabbit tenderloin, the steak, creme brûlée, coffee cake and the chocolate bar (there were 4 of us) and all of these dishes were the best versions of themselves (that I have tasted) in Toronto

I have to say we had one of the best evenings ever on Sunday. From the beautiful decor to the amazing servers to the incredible chef we had a magical experience. From the time we walked in the door we were treated like we were the only people in the restaurant. It was my sister's birthday and this turned out to be the best present of all. My sister happened to mention she was going to have to come back at least 8 times to try all the things she wanted on the menu. We were immediately offered a tasting menu which isn't really part of their menu. For the next 2.5 hours we were treated to a spectacular array of beautiful tastings. Most were on the menu but with Chef Adam's twist. He personally came out to explain each dish (the icing one cake). The flavour combinations were incredible. We are all foodies so it all happened like the best food symphony. I just wanted to thank you all for an amazing experience...we will be back for sure!

A beautiful evening, delicious meal. Went for my birthday. Staff was friendly and attentive, and they offered us the gorgeous flamingo room booth as it was my birthday (and I was ooohing and ahhing over the decor, such a stunning place! LOVED IT. Had oysters, scallops, and duck, then opera cake and Creme brûlée. Divine. Highly recommend!

12 courses. I am dead from eating one delicious bite after another. The service was awesome. The wine was great. At the end of our meal we had some strega and barely could walk our way to our Uber. Unbelievable. THANK YOU!!

Great food and beautiful ambiance. Be prepared to wait at least 30 min for bar spots for brunch! Definitely worth the wait.
