Food was very good and so was the service. The grilled octopus appetizer was excellent. I wanted to try the main stake dish but the waiter told us it started at 38 oz. That's a huge piece of meet and my wife didn't want to share so I opted for the flat iron stake. It was also $4.50 per ounce...(ouch)! Pasta was good as well. Overall it was good experience. I knocked a star off because it's extremely noisy. There were a couple of large tables that were very loud and, without any type of sound absortion material in the room, it was hard to hold a conversation. If you want to try it you need to hurry because it closes on June 30th.

Went to this popular spot with friends. The atmosphere is super cool and trendy. Absolutely dead when we arrived at 730pm for our 8pm res. We were not allowed to make a 730pm res (two seatings rule,) so we intended to have a cocktail at the bar. Of course, they seated us right away because it was empty. Whats with that, so lame. The cocktail menu and food are great. The steak options are a little crazy expensive, the roasted pig seemed quite popular. What wasnt that great, was the service. I'm maybe old school, but I had to ask to get my coat checked and our server seemed somewhat distracted. It made me a little uncomfortable. Overall, this is a great spot, worth trying. Pricey though.

We wanted a spot to eat, have a few drinks and catch up! Food was good but not over the top. $8 for a cup of pudding desert and $4.50 coffee put the bill way up. Staff were pleasant but we asked twice to have the music turned down. If you like loud music eat there. The fellow clearing the tables snatched stuff away and we felt rushed. I would not go back!

We selected this restaurant for a birthday dinner, and we have no regrets! The waiter was attentive and detailed in his recommendations. The appetizers (crispy pig ears and beef tartare) were very flavourable and main courses (duck breast and lamb chop) were very well done. Would highly recommend for special occasions (or if you're feeling like treating yourself.) the prices are comparable to the other high-end restaurants in Toronto, but you're guaranteed to get your money's worth!

Had the 42oz Cote de Boeuf to share. It was very tastsy albeit expensive(but you'd be paying a lot for an aged steak at a steakhouse regardless.) Ask about the price beforehand if you're on a budget. A word of warning though that since it's...More
