Bar Begonia - Toronto

The ambiance of both the indoor and outdoor seating areas was very pleasant and welcoming. The food was decent, but not outstanding. The prices were reasonably affordable.

I saw the elevated patio and knew I had to give it a try.

This was a very good meal. Fantastic taste experience and good value. We brought two bottles of wine . Total bill was $260 before tip for 4 people including the corkage . Foie Gras was to die for. Served with a Rhubarb compote it was really really good. I enjoyed the cured ham. The muscles were very good . A nightly special of a pork chop was good but not inspiring. Service was very attentive and informative. A big tip was well earned . A really funky place with a nice vibe . I will definitely return . Right around the corner or more accurately below Casa Loma which is where we were headed after dinner.

Very fortunate to have discovered this place since we moved to Toronto last year. Paris bistro style food that delights, great staff - Taylor creates magic cocktails , lots of energy and good vibes in this place to be - but keep it quiet, I don't want to get stuck in a huge queue.

The cocktails were great. We got a sandwich and an omelet. They were both ok. Staff not overly friendly. Toronto so far has been very friendly so this was an exeption.
