Aprile Bambina Cucina - Toronto

We had a reservation but the place was closed when we arrived. Not just closed for the day but doors & windows were papered up. No notice on the door. Odd as we heard great things about the place.

I've been a fan of Italian food since forever and I ate in different places, including Italy and I can honestly say that Aprile Bambina Cucina has the best food because all the flavors comes from natural ingredients (ex: fresh pieces of chopped garlic, tomatoes and herbs instead of condiments or canned items). Don't miss this place if you are in the neighborhood because it might be the most delicious Italian food you'll ever taste.

This charming restaurant is very close to my home and this was my second visit. Our family group of six had a wonderful, casual meal at Aprile Bambina. The menu has a good variety of pizzas, pastas and other mains. There as several vegetarian options and they offer both pizza dough and pasta in gluten-free versions. Among us we enjoyed several pizzas and pasta mains. I loved my Grilled Caesar salad and Mushroom & Truffle pizza! The wine list is very concise the prices are reasonable.The staff are extremely friendly and efficient. Overall, I love this place and we will return!

This restaurant is right around the corner from our home, we have driven past a million times. Always loved the view from the street... Decided to go for my birthday dinner, just the husband and myself; It happened to be date night and they have a menu specifically for that. Share an appetiser, choice of two entrees and desert. All on price fixed amount. Did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and all around fantastic. The food was amazing. Can't believe we took so long to go there. It won't be the last time either. Looking forward to patio season and enjoy their outdoor eating!

Once again, a charming visit to Aprile Bambina Cucina. This is a delightful Leslieville restaurant. It's a fairly small room so I would definitely advise making reservations. It's not expensive but I've never felt they compromise on quality. We started with a couple of shared appetizers. First up was the grilled caesar salad. I would never miss this on any visit to Baby April's. There is more than enough to split 3 ways (ideally shared between 2) and as always, it was quite delicious. We also ordered a charcuterie plate - split 4 ways - also delish, with a really nice choice of meats & cheeses. All 4 entrees of our were done to perfection. A couple of bottles of Valpolicella to wash it all down & we were all happy campers. Service was very good, attentive but not overbearing. A great night out with friends! Lastly, be sure to check their website for the specials. My favourite is on Tuesdays, but you'll have to check it out to find out why.
