A unique Mexican restaurant where the food will surprise you in a great way. Dishes are like sampler tapas.

Although we had to wait for our table for a long time, in spite of a reservation....due to a debit machine challenge, we finally enjoyed a delightful meal. We had the most delicious tostado verde, followed by the delicate, perfectly cooked pescado and other dishes..all perfectly prepared and served...all in the heart of Kensington Market...a wonderful evening!,

Try this place Agave y Aguacate on Baldwin street. A new find. Wonderful! Only problem is that it has been discovered by the masses and so can be hard to be seated. The food is fresh and delicious . The service is friendly but non intrusive and the price very reasonable. A good surprise,

The food reviews are right - extraordinary combination of taste, texture and visual presentation of fresh ingredients, a real adventure into regional Mexican cuisine. Other reviews have spoken of uneven service, on this Saturday night, it was charming, attentive and non-intrusive, and the pace of the food delivery was just right.But. This is not a comfortable dining room. The chairs are ugly and uncomfortable, the decor uninviting, and the walls are bare or mirrored, so right way, there's the potential for a noisy space. Add a full restaurant, and it was almost impossible to hear or speak to your dining companion - the only solution to speak loudly and add to the cacophony. We contemplated texting each other....... Not a romantic tete-a-tete event.Perhaps the best thing is to go early, the food is worth it.
