Il Buongusto is further from Via Po than you’d think from its address, but have faith and you’ll find it down on the right. Inside there’s a shop where they prepare take-aways, and behind that a small restaurant, full of locals when we called in one Sunday lunchtime. We ate at high stools in the shop, and while the food was prepared we selected biscuits and preserves to take home. This is a very local experience and specialises in Piemontese cooking. Lots of lamb sauce for various pasta dishes and mountain cheese with the salad. Quite different to the more tourist-oriented places not far away. Simple and enjoyable food, with enough English spoken to get a real understanding of what it is.
Genuine and authentic little place with a good food at affordable prices. It’s also a store where u can buy some local sweets and other stuffs. Recommended!
Excellent small restaurant. fixed price menu 22 euro good. mixed piemont dishes anti pasta and then ravioli and gnocchi includes bottle wine. beautiful atmosphere. very authentic.
A very familiar and warm place, the hosts give a very personalized attention and even offer tips from the piemontesa kitchen when eating. In our case we started with the antipast of the house for two where typical piemonte dishes are presented and then we have agnolotti and tajarin alla piemontese dinner. all exquisite, accompanied by an excellent red wine Nebbiolo and dessert bone and pannacotta.
