Market Square Coffee House - Torfaen

The hot chocolate and bacon and egg sandwich were delightful. Although they offer more options, that was all I needed. The sandwich was freshly made and the seating was comfortable. The atmosphere was also very friendly.

We discovered this charming little cafe as we were passing through Pontypool. Irina, the owner, prepares everything fresh daily and the coffee and cake we ordered were delicious. The cafe is also very welcoming to dogs. We highly recommend it and will definitely stop by again if we are in the area.

This charming little café provided a warm greeting and promptly took our order. I had no issues with enjoying my own gluten-free snack, which is always a welcome perk for someone with Celiac disease like myself. The coffee was top-notch, and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his iced espresso cake. The staff even bid us farewell as we left, which was a lovely touch.

A lovely small cafe in the market square run by a lovely Russian lady who has class. we had her apple cake and lemon drizzle- both were of a high standard. Although being Russian she can make a really good cappuchino as well!

The Market Square Coffee House is a little gem. It is certainly the best place in the whole of Torfaen to have proper coffee and fresh home-made cakes and pastries. Having no blaring music is a bonus. The Russian lady owner is really lovely as well as very professional. A real one-off enterprise which deserves to thrive.
