We love Il Botteghino. Amazing food, fabulous friendly staff. Totally recommend the mussels. Bring a huge appetite, you will not leave here hungry!!

Excellent food from a small family restaurant, pizzas and pasta are excellent and previous experience of antipasti is superb too. Within walking distance of Casa Mare where we were staying which means it is perfect place for everyone to enjoy without worrying about the drive home.

Amazing seafood. Meal if the week. Lovely friendly service. Family run. We eat here halfway through our time here snd it was without doubt the highlight of the holiday. Lovely fresh fish and homemade pasta.

My family had dinner three 3 times, as after the first one we knew we had to come back the food was delicious! The service was perfect! I guess there was only one young waiter speaking English and he served us he was unbelievable professional! This is a must on your journey tip: come not earlier than 7pm : The only disappointment desserts are not home made :

We where a party of five from Dublin staying in Villa Nicola just a five to ten minuet walk away from the restaurant. We asked the gentleman who we rented the villa from to make a reservation for us on the Saturday night for 8.00 pm as it was for a 60 th birthday and to organise a cake and a bottle of Prosecco. We arrive out side and thought we where in the wrong place as it did not look like a restaurant from the out side, we walked in and there was only a couple and their three children sitting there we thought this is not looking good but we discovered we where very early as the Italians do not eat till late, the restaurant filled up from 9.00 pm. We ordered two Anti Pasti between the five of us which was slightly to much but we cleared it. Two of the guests had steak and said it was melt in their mouths, two had the fresh made Pizza and one had the Sea Bass which the lovely lady brought out to show us before it was cooked, it came out on the plate cooked with the head and tail still on, it was beautiful. The cake we ordered with the inscription on it came with the bottle of Prosecco which we had as a dessert. The staff are very helpful trying to explain the menu with the bit of Italian we had and their bit of English we managed to order a beautiful meal. While we where there it was kept busy with people ordering their take away Pizza. Our bill that evening includeing beers, coffees the cake and Prosecco €200 for five guests. Three of us returned again during our weeks stay as the food was so good and the staff so nice. B C.
