The Preston Fryer - Torbay

This restaurant serves amazing fish and chips. It's the best we've had in years. The food arrived on time, was very hot, and absolutely delicious. It was well cooked and well presented. We highly recommend it. Thank you for a 5-star experience.

We ordered delivery for the first time tonight, a bit nervous as we had never used a service like this for fish and chips before... and because our favorite fish and chip shop doesn't deliver! We were not disappointed, the food arrived right on time and was hot and delicious. The food was not greasy, everything was wrapped in paper instead of a sweaty plastic bag. The chips were not undercooked, the batter on the fish was just the right thickness, and the fish itself was chunky and delicious. My husband's chicken and mushroom pie was also perfect. We will definitely order from here again, we finished everything before I could take a picture, sorry!

Bought myself and my elderly parents a very nice fish and chip meal. Pleasant staff and the portions were good. It's in a great position, easy access. Very good prices and variety. Well worth a visit.

Bowling club used them again for 35 suppers . Said he would deliver 8pm Arrived bang on time , food was hot and we only had a few negative comments about the chips . All the others enjoyed their food . Very likely we would use them again for the club . A few of our members are regulars there anyway .

Terrible service and gross food. Made me sick. Ordered gluten free and was given gluten. Rude server who wouldn’t tell us when food would be ready. Will never go back. Avoid at all cost!
