The Galley - Torbay

We went here for a coffee stop , coffee very weak, they have signs up promoting they do good coffee, it was very weak, like having warm milk , the staff , well, were do you start , rude , no customer service , no manners , everything was too much trouble , another customer had asked for some sugar , waitress went off moaning , saying ‘ I’m not their servant’, which is exactly what they are , they are their to serve the customer as the customer are paying their wages , we will not be coming here again , disgraceful

Felt dirty when ordering wished we never went, unfriendly staff Coffee was weak and makes incorrectly The bacon was really fatty and cheap and nasty AVOID

Fairly basic café located on the harbour approach with some outside seating. We had coffee and snacks but the English breakfast looked good, maybe next time.

We drove from Sevenoaks overnight and were in need of a hearty breakfast. The Galley was the first place we found, overlooking the marina in beautiful sunshine, so we decided to give it a try. It's a typical seaside café, just opening up for the day, but everything was cooked fresh. We had no complaints - the food was perfect and came with all the extras we had ordered. It was exactly what we had hoped for.

There were maggots in the tuna sandwich. Refunded money !!
