Serious Shrimp - Torbay

Nice choice of seafood, was best priced of a few seafood places and seemed to get more. Had some octopus and whelks. Happily go again.

Located in a prime spot on the edge of the harbour, this is primarily a takeaway, but there are nonetheless a small number of tables under an awning should you wish to eat “in”. The small pots of whelks, prawns and so on looked enticing, but we wanted something a bit more substantial so opted for the prawn sandwiches. These were very good indeed, a generous filling with Mary Rose sauce and served with a side salad and some crisps. Crab sandwiches across the table were also well received, and at £8.50 seemed much better value than the ones we had the day before for £11. Well worth trying.

Had a beautiful meal there on Saturday we felt utterly spoilt with our food and location. Both staff were very friendly and the portions were excellent. Really made our day out feel very special thank you

The best crab sandwiches in Brixham so tasty and great value that my family have visited twice this month! They come with a fresh salad, yummy dressing and thick crisps. The whelks and oysters are also delicious and the team are always really friendly. Perfect for a sunny day with gorgeous views of the harbour while you enjoy your meal!
