Jade Palace - Torbay

This is the best Duck Bamboo Shoots and Water Chestnuts dish I have ever had. I always order it when I eat Chinese food. Even though it's not on the menu, I don't understand why not when Chicken, Prawn, and Beef dishes are. The restaurant agreed to make it for me and it was absolutely delicious.

This used to be my go-to Chinese takeout spot, but not anymore. I'm not sure what has happened, but the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. The chips were dry and tasted like cardboard, and the prawn crackers had no taste of prawn at all.

I am extremely disappointed by the rude behavior I experienced when I tried to make a complaint over the phone. I placed an order but not all items were delivered. When I called to report this, I was told that it was my fault because the person I spoke to had read the order back to me. If this was true, then I must have been overcharged based on their current prices. This is the third time that I have not received my full order (not due to any fault of mine), and I find this level of service to be appalling.

Fab food, cooked perfectly. Reasonable wait for delivery, friendly driver. Can't fault at all. The only place we go for Chinese food as it's always top notch.

Went twice while we were down here on hol. Cant"t fault it, good food ,good price and friendly sevice which goes a long way imo. Spot on
