Bay Trecarn - Torbay

When I visited the Trecarn hotel in August of this year, I initially thought it was good. However, when I had to cancel my next trip due to unforeseen circumstances, including contracting COVID-19 and my uncle being hospitalized, I tried to waive the fee for my room. Unfortunately, the hotel declined my request. I find this policy a bit unreasonable and feel that it is somewhat unfair to customers. Despite having to pay the full price of £242 (rather than a lower price of £90-150) for a room I will not be using, I have decided that I will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

Stayed here with over 40 people for 4 nights. Hotel rooms are basic but very nice and clean. Everything you could ask for. Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Honestly the best breakfast I have ever had. Constantly filling it up with fresh hot food. Dinners were nice as well. 3 choices every night with vegetarian options available on request. Plenty of staff serving you. Absolute bargain for the price. Would definitely come back. Top stay x

Not a very good hotel my honste opinion rooms very basic tvs don't work no hand soap or anything in the bathrooms smells of smoke very out dated rooms no signal innthe hotel would not come back again avoid at all cost

Hotel is clean, staff seem friendly. Went to use bar and got told could only use with token from UK package. Cancelled second night when asked why said could not use bar. Then got told we could use it. No prices shown so don't know how much a drink is
